*Standouts: TIMY The Giving Essence

Didn’t want to love this as much as I did because of the price tag but it was pretty good, lasts a long time using 1x a day, little goes a long way.

From Then I Met You (thenimetyou.com) - The Giving Essence packs in skin-nourishing ingredients like powerhouse galactomyces - a derivative of fermented sake - to brighten, calm inflammation and unlock healthy and hydrated skin. Meanwhile, a potent cocktail of antioxidant-rich red algae and berries, as well as ellagic acid and polyglutamic acid, work to unveil your most luminous complexion from within.

pH of 5.0

Why am I using it?

TLDR; The $50 stings a little but you won’t regret it.

In the early days of my skin renaissance, I discovered K Beauty. While a 10-step routine is not for the faint of heart, I could not deny my sensitized skin had felt the best it ever did when I incorporated essences.

The idea behind the 10 steps is layering hydration. Over time I got into the more aggressive Western way of things, but it turns out that my congested and pretty much confused skin was in dire need of hydration. So back to light layers I went.

I was remiss to shell out that $50 for such a small bottle, but a little goes a long way and you DEFINITELY notice the days when you skip/forget it.
